Saskatoon Police arrested multiple people yesterday and this morning, who were observed exhibiting suspicious behaviour.
At approximately 9:40 a.m., December 16, 2019, Patrol members were dispatched to a home in the 200 block of Keller Crescent. The caller reported that a suspicious man had been observed in their backyard. He was described as a younger male dressed in all black carrying a duffel bag. Police located the suspect near Taylor Street and Heritage Drive. The 18 year old man was found to have an outstanding warrant for his arrest. He was also found in possession of stolen property and break and enter tools, which he was charged for.

Later in the evening, at approximately 10:00 p.m., December 16, 2019, Patrol members were called to the 1500 block of 20th Street West. Various suspicious person reports had been received, regarding a man holding a machete. The 28 year old man was quickly located by officers and arrested without incident. The machete was located and seized, along with a second knife and Crystal Meth. He was charged with Possession of a Dangerous Weapon, Possession of Methamphetamine and Breach of Probation.

This morning, at approximately 1:30 a.m., December 17, 2019, Patrol members observed two suspicious people standing outside of a closed business near Avenue H North and 23rd Street West. The man and woman told officers they were using the businesses’ WiFi. Police found that the 20 year old woman had numerous outstanding warrants for her arrest. When she was taken into custody, officers located a can of pepper spray and a knife on her person. She was also believed to be under the influence of an intoxicant. She was charged with Possession of a Dangerous Weapon, Carry a Concealed Weapon and Breach of Undertaking.
