A 26-year-old woman is facing charges after Police checked on a separate persons court-imposed conditions last night.
At approximately 9:20 p.m., December 19, 2019, members of the Guns and Gangs Unit attended to a residence in the 100 block of Avenue O South to check the conditions of a person residing there. The subject presented himself but as Officers were speaking to him, they encountered a number of individuals in a room. As a result of further investigation, a woman was found to be attempting to conceal a sawed-off shotgun and was subsequently taken into custody. She was also found to be in possession of a can of bear spray, a red and white bandana and methamphetamine.
The 26-year-old Saskatoon woman is charged with Possession of Dangerous Weapon, Unauthourized Possession of Firearm, Possession of Methamphetamine and Breach of Conditions. (Court Info # 991115438, 991115437)
