A 37 year old man is recovering in hospital following a stabbing yesterday evening.

At approximately 7:30 p.m. Police received a report of an injured man on a sidewalk in the 200 block of Primrose Drive. Bystanders were attempting to administer aid when officers arrived on scene. The 37 year old man was suffering from stab wounds and was transported to hospital by Medavie Health Services. He reported to Police that he had been involved in an altercation with a person who is known to him.

The incident remains under investigation.
