A 31 year old woman is facing charges of trafficking in methamphetamine following a traffic stop conducted by Saskatoon Police.

At approximately 10:00 p.m., December 23, 2019, Police stopped a Chevrolet Corsica in the 300 block of Avenue P North. The female driver was known to be wanted on a warrant. A search of a purse inside the vehicle resulted in officers locating four cell phones, five baggies of crystal methamphetamine, cash and drug paraphernalia. A 30 year old male passenger was also found to be wanted on a warrant and was in possession of a small amount of methamphetamine.

The 31 year old female driver is facing charges of; trafficking in methamphetamine, possession for the purpose of trafficking in methamphetamine, possession of the proceeds of crime, and breach of court conditions.

The 30 year old man is facing a charge of possession of methamphetamine, and breach of probation.
