A 16 year old is facing a number of weapon-related charges today.

Saskatoon Police were dispatched to a school in the 100 block of Nelson Road at approximately 12:40 p.m., March 6, 2020. A 16 year old male was said to be in possession of a hatchet. The school activated a perimeter lockdown. The male was located and arrested near school grounds. No one was injured.

The 16 year old male is charged with Carrying a Concealed Weapon, Possession of a Dangerous Weapon and Mischief over $5000.
