At approximately 12:45 a.m., January 8, 2020, Patrol members were dispatched to a bar in the 200 block of 21st Street East for a report of an injured person. Upon arrival, officers were met outside by numerous people believed to be impaired by alcohol. A 26 year old male had obvious injuries from a recent altercation. Police located a stab wound on the male and he was transported to hospital by Medavie Health Services. His injuries are believed to be non-life threatening.
The unknown suspects are described as a group of approximately six individuals that fled on foot. Various people in the area were spoken to by Patrol members, but no arrests were made. No further suspect descriptions are available.
