A 20 year old man is facing numerous charges following an incident over the weekend.

The male was one of two men who was stopped by Police as they were investigating a stabbing at approximately 4:00 p.m., April 5, 2020. The men were in the area of 21st Street and Avenue P South and matched the description of the suspects. The males fled from the officers on foot. A few minutes later the 20 year old man was located at 20th Street and Avenue M. He was found to be in possession of bear spray and several pieces of identification belonging to other people. He is now facing eight charges of Possession of Identity Documents Relating to Another Person, Possession of a Weapon Dangerous to the Public Peace, Carrying a Concealed Weapon and breach of court order.

The stabbing incident involved a 25 year old male victim who suffered non-life threatening injuries at approximately 2:00 p.m. April 5, 2020. The investigation into that incident continues.
