One man was arrested early this morning following a reported break-in to a home.

At approximately 4:30 a.m., January 13, 2020, Patrol officers were dispatched to a house in the 1400 block of Avenue B North for a report of a break and enter in progress. Upon arrival, Police located a woman who reported that someone just attempted to break into her house. She stated that she awoke to breaking glass and observed a damaged window. The suspect was then seen attempting to gain entry through a back door. The woman verbally warned the suspect that she was calling Police, before he fled. Police located and arrested the suspect nearby a short time later. He was believed to be under the influence of alcohol at the time of the incident.

A 30 year old man is charged with Break and Enter and Mischief.
