On January 18, 2020 at 7:55 pm, the Saskatoon Police received a call to the 300 block Marlatte Street of two masked people trying to get into a residence and shots were fired into the residence. The suspects were seen leaving in a vehicle.
Patrol officers arrived and located a male with minor injuries and another male who had been grazed by the bullet. Both were transported to the hospital.
Officers located the vehicle possibly involved and attempted to conduct a traffic stop, the vehicle failed to stop for police. The vehicle eventually stopped in Warman and one person fled on foot before being apprehended by Patrol members.
Two men ages 26 and 30 are now in custody facing numerous charges. Guns and Gangs Unit continue to investigate.
