Saskatoon Police were called to a house in the 1300 block of Ave B.N. at 4:00 a.m. on January 19th for a call of a Domestic Complaint.

Upon arrival, Patrol Members attempted to take a male into custody for assault. He became uncooperative and assaultive toward officers and a Conducted Energy Weapon (CEW) was deployed allowing the 31 year old male to be taken into custody without further incident.

The male faces charges of Domestic Assault, Two counts of Assault Police Officer, Breach of a Court Order, and was arrested on an unrelated warrant. He will appear before a Justice of the Peace later today.

The CEW deployment will be reviewed in accordance with policy.
