A 37 year old Saskatoon man is facing a number of charges following an investigation into a firearms incident in the 300 block of Avenue I North.

At approximately 3:30 p.m., January 26, 2020 Police were called to the home where it was reported one man had threatened another with a gun. Upon arrival, and with assistance from the Air Support Unit, officers were able to locate several people. The male suspect remained inside the home however, and members of the Tactical Support Unit were also called to assist. The suspect exited the home at approximately 4:15 p.m. A search warrant was later executed and officers located a loaded, sawed off double barrel shot gun. No one was physically injured during the incident.

The 37 year old male is now facing 11 charges including Assault with a Weapon and Pointing a Firearm.
