Members of the SPS Guns and Gangs Unit are investigating following a report of a man with a gun inside a residence this morning.

At approximately 9:30 a.m. Police received the report from a residence in the 800 block of 33rd Street West. There was also information that a shot may have been fired. Upon arrival officers located people inside. No one was injured.

Members of the SPS also attended to a nearby school after receiving information that someone matching the description of a possible suspect was seen there. Officers advised the school to follow it’s procedure for a school lockdown. Upon further investigation it was determined there was no threat to public safety.
