Saskatoon Police are searching for a male suspect believed to be responsible for a stabbing last night.
At approximately 6:57 p.m., on October 8, 2021, a Constable with the K-9 Unit came across two males fighting in the south alley of Idylwyld Dr N and 32nd St W. As the officer drove up to them, a male wearing a red shirt and ball cap ran away north bound in the alley. The officer attended to the injured male and found a 42 year old male suffering from numerous stab wounds.
The victim was transported to the hospital by Medavie with serious life threatening injuries. His status has since been upgraded to stable.
Members from the Serious Assault Unit were called out and are carrying on with the investigation. The suspect was not located and is unknown at this time.
