Arrest - Drug Trafficking - Stonebridge Area

Members of the Saskatoon Crime Reduction Team have concluded a three week investigation into drug trafficking activities in Saskatoon’s Stonebridge area.

On October 13, 2021, just after 2:00 p.m., a 46 year-old male was taken into custody by members of the Tactical Support Unit, without incident, near a business in the 3100 block of Clarence Avenue.

Search warrants were then executed at residences in the 100 block of Levalley Cove and the 800 block of Mendel Crescent. Evidence seized from the search warrants include the following:

  • 300 grams of cocaine packaged in both bulk form and for distribution
  • $7,865.00 cash
  • Winchester 44-40 level action rifle

The 46 year old male is facing charges as follows:

  • Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking in Cocaine
  • Trafficking in a Controlled Substances (Cocaine)
  • Possession of Proceeds of Crime over $5000
  • Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
  • Careless Storage of a Firearm

A 2018 Dodge Ram and a 2011 Nissan Maxima were seized as offence related property.

The Crime Reduction Team is funded by the Government of Saskatchewan through the Ministry of Justice, Corrections and Policing.
