Members of the Saskatoon Crime Reduction Team have concluded a month-long investigation into the drug trafficking activities of a 32-year-old Saskatoon man.
On November 18, 2021, at approximately 12:30 p.m., the 32-year-old was taken into custody without incident following a traffic stop by members of the Tactical Support Unit in the area of 22nd Street and Witney Avenue.
Search warrants were then executed at residences in the 400 block of Pendygrasse Road, the 200 block of Underhill Way, and the 100 block of Avenue X South. Investigators seized the following items:
- 747 grams of cocaine
- $5,335.00 cash
- 71.18 grams of buffing agent
- Five cellular phones
The 32-year-old man is charged with: Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine, Trafficking Cocaine, and Possession of Proceeds of Crime over $5000. (Court Info #: 991179944).
A 2013 Chevrolet Equinox, a 1997 GMC Savanna Cube Van, and a 2002 Land Rover Freelander were also seized as offence-related property.
The Crime Reduction Team is funded by the Government of Saskatchewan through the Ministry of Justice, Corrections and Policing.
