On April 14 at approximately 3:15pm police were called to the 1400 block of 21st Street West for a report of an injured person. On arrival Police located a 43 year old male that had been attacked by five unknown suspects armed with machetes. He received serious injuries but is in stable condition.

He was transported to the hospital by Medavie Health Services West.

The Serious Assault Unit and the Forensic Identification Unit attended and are investigating.
