Police have arrested two more young people from Saskatoon, in connection with the recent murder of 27 year old Shedane Favel. Two males, ages 13 and 15 were arrested today without incident. Both are charged with 2nd degree murder. The 15 year old is also facing a charge of breaching the conditions of a prior release order.
Both will appear in Saskatoon Provincial Court on Wednesday morning, April 27th.

Members of the Saskatoon Police Service Major Crime Section continue to investigate a weekend homicide. Three males, ages 13, 14 and 16, all from Saskatoon, are charged with Second Degree Murder in connection with the shooting of a 27-year-old year old Saskatoon man.
Investigators have been able to determine that a robbery involving a firearm took place in the same area just prior to the homicide. The first incident involved a separate victim who had been riding a bicycle. The unknown victim was able to flee the area, however Police are asking him to come forward, or for anyone who has information on the incident to call 306-975-8300 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

The Saskatoon Police Service has identified a 27 year old male, Shedane Favel as the victim of Saskatoon’s latest homicide investigation.
Three males aged 13, 14 and 16 have been charged with Second Degree Murder in connection to a shooting that occurred on the morning of April 24, 2022. They will appear in Provincial Court on April 25, 2022 at 9:30 a.m. (Court Info #991194614, 991194617, 991194619)

On April 24, 2022 at approximately 6:30 AM a police officer was waved down by a 27 year old male who said that he had been shot in the 200 block of Ave O South.
The 27 year old male was transported to hospital by Medavie Health Services West with life-threatening injuries. The male succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
Patrol officers as well as members of the Forensic Identification Section, Serious Assault Unit and the Major Crime Section are investigating. More details will be released when available.
