Saskatoon Police are investigating an altercation that took place on August 23, 2022 and resulted in one woman receiving a life-threatening injury.

Police were called to the 300 block of 2nd Avenue South at approximately 5:50 p.m. yesterday, to a report of a fight involving two women. One woman had been stabbed and the suspect had fled the scene. The 42 year old injured woman was transported to hospital by Medavie Health Services where she is being treated. Members of the Serious Assault Unit are now investigating and attempting to locate the suspect.
