The Saskatoon Police Service Serious Assault Unit is investigating after a shooting on Tuesday evening.

On September 20, 2022, at around 5:30 p.m., officers responded to the 200 block of Avenue G South after receiving a report that a woman had been shot. Upon arrival, officers found a 32-year-old woman suffering from injuries consistent with a gunshot wound. She was transported to hospital by Medavie Health Services with what are thought to be serious but non-life threatening injuries.

Currently there are no suspects in this incident. The SPS Serious Assault Unit continues to investigate and is asking anyone with information to contact 306-975-8300, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
