Arrests - Drug Trafficking Investigation - Crime Reduction Team

The Saskatoon Police Service Crime Reduction Team has made arrests in connection to a drug trafficking investigation.

On October 21st, 2022, at around 1:45 p.m., officers arrested a 24-year-old man suspected of trafficking cocaine, in a parking lot near the intersection of 8th Street East and Grosvenor Avenue. Then at around 4:30 p.m., a 25-year-old man was also arrested in the 2400 block of Louise Street. Search warrants were then executed on two residences; one in the 200 block of Emmeline Road, the other in the 1600 block of Preston Avenue South.

As a result of the investigation the CRT seized the following:

  • 99.4 grams crack cocaine
  • $9770.00 cash
  • Shotgun Ammunition
  • 40 packs of illicit cigarettes
  • 4 cellular devices

The 24-year-old man faces charges of Trafficking Cocaine, Possession of Cocaine, and Possession of the Proceeds of Crime Over $5,000. The 25-year-old man faces charges of Possession of Cocaine, and Possession of the Proceeds of Crime Over $5,000.
