The Saskatoon Police Service is advising police the presence in the 100 block of Avenue Q South has ended. This incident was connected to the officer involved shooting that occurred in the 1300 block of Avenue E North. The Regina Police Service is now investigating and updates will be made as part of that investigation. Traffic restrictions in the area have been lifted.

Saskatoon Police Service Guns and Gangs Unit, in conjunction with Crisis Negotiators and the Tactical Support Unit are currently at the scene of a residence on the 100 block of Avenue Q South. Traffic restrictions are in place.
Police are asking members of the public to avoid the area until further notice.
An update will be provided upon resolution of the incident .
