The Saskatoon Police Service Major Crime Section has made an arrest in connection to a suspicious death that occurred on Tuesday.
A 25-year-old man was arrested on November 15th, 2022 and has now been charged with Second Degree Murder. The victim, 20-year-old Nykera Brown, and the accused were known to each other. The Major Crime Section continues to investigate, however investigators are not looking for any additional suspects.
This incident occurred in the 100 block of Avenue P South, not Avenue P North as previously stated.

The Saskatoon Police Service is investigating a suspicious death that occurred yesterday evening.
On Tuesday November 15th, 2022, at approximately 8:15 p.m., police were called to a residence in the 100 block of Avenue P North. The body of a 20-year-old Saskatoon woman was found at the scene.
Investigators from the Major Crime Section as well as technicians from the Forensic Identification Section are involved in the investigation. Two adults, a man and a woman have been detained for questioning. No charges have been laid at this point and the investigation is continuing. Police do not believe there is any danger to the public.
