A section of 33rd Street East between Warman Road and Ontario Avenue that had previously been fully restricted has now been reopened to pedestrian and vehicular traffic.

Police wish to thank members of the public for their accomodation of the closure.

A section of 33rd Street East between Warman Road and Ontario Avenue continues to be fully restricted in both directions following a collision that involved power infrastructure this morning.

The roadway is expected to remain closed for several hours; including throughout the evening rush hour. Traffic is reported to be congested at times. Members of the pedestrian and motoring public are advised to find alternative routes of travel around the area.

An update will be provided upon removal of the traffic restrictions or new information becoming known.

Police are currently at the scene of a collision on 33rd Street East between Warman Road and Ontario Avenue.

The collision occurred at around 8:00 a.m. this morning, November 23, 2022, and involves a large truck and power infrastructure. Pedestrian and vehicular traffic is being heavily restricted in both directions on 33rd Street East between Warman Road and Ontario Avenue. Members of the public are advised to avoid the area.
