Three people have been arrested, after an investigation by the Saskatoon Police Service Crime Reduction Team.
On February 8th, 2022, at approximately 11:30 p.m., a 31-year-old man was arrested on foot, near a residence in the 2900 block of Cumberland Avenue South. During the arrest, officers discovered methamphetamine located on his person. Shortly after, investigators served a search warrant at a residence in the area, two women were located and arrested inside. Police also seized methamphetamine, cash, and drug paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking.
In total police seized:
- 1851.9 grams of crystal methamphetamine
- $1215.00 cash
- 3 pounds of cannabis
- Smartphones, digital scales and other paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking
A 31-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman are charged with Drug Trafficking (Methamphetamine), Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (Methamphetamine), and Possession of the Proceeds of Crime Under $5000.
A 34-year-old woman is charged with Possession of Methamphetamine.
