Ongoing Missing Persons Investigation - Mackenzie Trottier - Renewed Request For Public Assistance

For three full years, the loved ones of Mackenzie Lee Trottier have searched for answers into her disappearance since last seeing her on December 21, 2020. Since that time, investigators have released video surveillance, pursued several leads, and participated in a Paramount+ documentary series alongside the Trottier family in an effort to raise awareness but continue to search for information that will bring Mackenzie home.

In a renewed request for public assistance, the Saskatoon Police Service is again sharing photo and video of a man believed to have information relating to the disappearance of Mackenzie. Investigators have not identified this man and remain interested in doing so. The video can be seen on the SPS’ Facebook and X pages. A photo and composite sketch of the man, believed to be approximately 5’3” in height, is attached for redistribution. Investigators have pursued leads relating to the company-branded clothing being worn by the man and found no relevant connection.

The search for Mackenzie will not stop until she is located. Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Mackenzie Lee Trottier, the identity and/or whereabouts of the unknown man, or with information otherwise believed to be relevant to the investigation is asked to contact the Saskatoon Police Service at 306-975-8300 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477. In an emergency, call 9-1-1 immediately. Photos of Mackenzie are included in the original missing persons release.

The Saskatoon Police Service is once again requesting assistance regarding the disappearance of Mackenzie Lee Trottier.

It has been nearly a year since Mackenzie was last seen on December 21, 2020, in the 300 block of Trent Crescent.  On February 10th, 2021 the SPS Major Crime Section released a photo, and video of a male believed to have information regarding the disappearance of Mackenzie.  He has not yet been positively identified.  The video can be seen on the SPS Facebook and Twitter pages.

Two more pictures are also being distributed of the male, including a composite sketch.  Investigators now believe he is approximately 5’3” in height.
