The Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit has charged a Regina man with child pornography offences. On November 8, 2022, members of the ICE Unit began an investigation into child pornography being uploaded on a social media program. On December 21st, members of the ICE Unit executed a search warrant at a residence in Regina that was identified as the location where the offences were occurring. Electronic devices were examined at the scene which provided evidence of the offences.
As a result of police investigation, Carlin STULBERG, 35 years, was charged on December 21st. He has been charged with:
- 1 count of Possession of Child Pornography - Section 163.1(4) of the Criminal Code.
- 1 count of Distribution of Child Pornography - Section 163.1(3) of the Criminal Code.
He was released from custody on numerous conditions. His next court date is February 6, 2023.
The Saskatchewan ICE Unit is comprised of investigators from the Saskatchewan RCMP, Regina Police Service, Saskatoon Police Service, and Prince Albert Police Service. Their mandate is to investigate crimes involving the abuse and/or exploitation of children on the Internet.
