Police have arrested a female after a disturbance resulted in a stabbing early this morning.

Around 12:45 a.m. on April 13, 2023, police responded to the 900 block of Argyle Avenue for a report of a disturbance between two parties known to one another. Upon arrival, it was learned that the disputing parties had since fled the address. A short time later, officers were dispatched back to the same address for a report of an injured person. Continued investigation determined that the 17-year-old female victim had been stabbed by other party involved in the earlier dispute. She was transported to hospital for treatment of what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.

As a result, a 15-year-old female from Saskatoon has been charged with assault with a weapon. Two outstanding warrants from the Saskatoon Police Service were also executed at this time.
