The Saskatoon Police Service Serious Assault Unit is investigating following an assault that occurred downtown yesterday.

On April 12, 2023 at around 5:30 p.m., police received several reports of two large groups of youth engaged in a verbal confrontation in the area of 20th Street East near 3rd and 4th Avenue South; it was reported that one or more firearms may have been pointed between the two groups.
