Two 12-year-old kids located unharmed last night, following a concerning Police report.

On April, 16, 2023, at approximately 10:00 p.m., Communications received a report of two missing 12-year-olds from the 300 block of Johnson Crescent.

The complainant stated that, prior to losing contact with the male youth, a text was received from him explaining that he and his friend were being followed.

Investigators with the Missing Person Unit and the Major Crime Section were called out. At approximately 1:00 a.m., April 17, 2023, Police located the missing kids in a residence in the 40 block of McDougall Crescent. There were three other adults inside the home, who were spoken to by Police. The two 12-year-olds, who were unharmed, were returned to their families.

No charges were laid and the Investigation is ongoing.
