Investigators with the Major Crime Section have arrested and charged a 33-year-old Saskatoon woman with manslaughter in relation to the May 27, 2023 homicide of 33-year-old David Dustyhorn of Saskatoon.
She is expected to appear before a Justice of the Peace later this evening.

Over the weekend, the Saskatoon Police Service deemed a suspicious death that occurred on Saturday night, a homicide. 33-year-old, David Dustyhorn of Saskatoon is the victim of homicide, making this the fourth homicide in Saskatoon in 2023.
On May 27, 2023 at approximately 10:00 p.m., investigators with the Major Crimes Section arrested a 33-year-old woman in the 100 block of Confederation Place. She was later released from custody.
Members of the Major Crimes Section and the Forensic Identification Section continue to investigate.
The Saskatoon Police Service is investigating a suspicious death that occurred on the evening of May 27, 2023
At approximately 8:30 p.m., Saskatoon Police were called to a residence in the 100 block of Confederation Place for a report of an injured male. Upon arrival, officers located an injured 33 year old male. The male was taken to Royal University Hospital where he later died.
Members of the Major Crimes Section and Forensic Identification Section are investigating. Members of Patrol remain on scene. Further information will be released as the investigation continues.
