Two women have been charged following an assault early yesterday morning.

Shortly after 4:00 a.m., May 30, 2023, Patrol members responded to a report of a woman being assaulted by two other women outside of a hotel in the 800 block of Idylwyld Drive. Upon arrival, police learned the two suspects had also made derogatory comments about gender.

The victim, 43-years-old, did not sustain serious physical injuries.

The two women, ages 33 and 41, were arrested at the scene and are both facing charges of Assault.

Due to the nature of investigation, the Hate Crime Unit is continuing to investigate.
