A man is facing charges after Saskatoon Police responded to a firearms complaint yesterday evening.

At approximately 5:30 p.m., August 3, 3023, patrol officers responded to the 300 block of 2nd Avenue South after it was reported that a man was pointing a firearm at people. When officers arrived, they located the individual and took him into custody. During the arrest, officers located an airsoft pistol in the suspect's backpack.

The 21-year-old male is charged with Possession of a Dangerous Weapon.
