Renewed Request For Public Assistance - Historical Homicide - James Favel

A decade later, Saskatoon Police are renewing their calls for public assistance in investigating the death of 77-year-old James Favel.

At approximately 9:45 p.m., August 19, 2013, patrol officers were dispatched to a call of an injured man in the 200 block of Avenue I North. When police arrived on scene, Mr. Favel was found suffering from head injuries. He died in hospital on August 31, 2013. An autopsy concluded that the head injuries led to his death.

Tomorrow marks 10 years since the incident that led to Mr. Favel’s death, and investigators are asking anyone who may have information on what happened, to come forward.
