The Collision Analyst Unit is investigating following a fatal collision between a passenger vehicle and a bicycle.
At approximately 5:45 p.m. on September 6, 2023, police responded to the intersection of 19th Street West and Avenue P South for a report of a serious collision involving a cyclist. The 36-year-old male cyclist had sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to hospital by paramedics where he was later pronounced deceased. Next of kin notifications have been completed and police will not be releasing the victim’s name.
The Collision Analyst Unit is continuing to investigate.
Traffic restrictions have been lifted. The Saskatoon Police Service thanks the public for their cooperation.

Traffic restrictions are in effect from 17th street to 20th street on Avenue P South following a motor vehicle collision with a cyclist. The Collision Analyst Unit is investigating.
Members of the motoring public are advised to find an alternate route through the area.
An update will be available upon removal of the restrictions.
