The Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit has charged a Regina man with child exploitation offences. In July of 2023, the ICE Unit commenced an online investigation relating to child pornography.
On September 27, 2023, the Saskatchewan ICE Unit conducted a search warrant at a home in Regina where electronic devices were seized pursuant to the investigation. As a result, 53-year-old Jason Wiley of Regina was charged with the following offences;
- One count of possession of child pornography.
- One count of luring a child under 14 years.
Jason Wiley was released on numerous conditions until his next court appearance on November 6, 2023, at 9:30 a.m..

The Saskatchewan ICE Unit is comprised of investigators from the Saskatchewan RCMP, Regina Police Service, Saskatoon Police Service, and Prince Albert Police Service. Their mandate is to investigate crimes involving the abuse and/or exploitation of children on the internet.
