The Saskatoon Police Service is requesting public assistance in locating a missing mother and son.
Mariam Osunfowora, age 34, and Xavier Osunfowora, age 3, were last seen leaving a residence in the 300 block of Central Avenue at around 4:30 p.m. on October 1, 2023 accompanied by Mariam’s 60-year-old mother, Kaosara Uthman.
Mariam is described as being 5’8” and 150lbs with long black hair, brown eyes, and pierced ears. A clothing description for Mariam is not available; Xavier is believed to be wearing a light green sweat suit.
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Mariam and/or Xavier Osunfowora is asked to contact the Saskatoon Police Service at 306-975-8300 or, in an emergency, 9-1-1. Anonymous information can also be provided to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477. A photo is attached for distribution.
