An 18-year-old man is facing charges following a single vehicle rollover from the weekend.
At approximately 2:00 a.m., October 7, 2023, Patrol officers and members of the Collision Analyst Unit responded to a single-vehicle collision in the eastbound lanes of Circle Drive between Clarence Avenue and Preston Avenue. Both occupants, a man and a woman, were transported to hospital.
Further investigation found the vehicle had been reported stolen from Calgary, AB.
After being assessed in hospital, the 18-year-old man from Medicine Hat, AB, was transported to SPS Detention. He is charged with Possession of Stolen Property Over $5000, Obstruction, and breach of court-imposed conditions. (Court Info # 991246435)

Police are responding to a report of a single vehicle rollover on Circle Drive South between Clarence Ave and Preston Ave in the Eastbound lanes. Traffic has been reduced to one lane for Eastbound traffic. The Accident Reconstruction Team is on scene to initiate an investigation. An update will be provided when more information is known.
