A 42 year old woman will appear in Saskatoon Provincial Court today, charged with one count of Criminal Negligence Causing Death.
The woman was charged following the death of a 1-year-old boy at a home in the 100 block of Avenue T South. Saskatoon Police were called to the home on Saturday, March 9, 2024 regarding a sudden death.

At approximately 11:23 a.m. today, March 9, 2024, police were called to a sudden death in the 100 block of Avenue T South. Members of the Major Crime and Forensic Identification Sections continue to investigate. The Police Service would like to advise that there is no risk to the general public as a result of the ongoing investigation.
