Members of the Saskatoon Crime Reduction Team have concluded a drug trafficking investigation with the arrest of a 33-year-old Saskatoon man.
At around 8:00 p.m. on March 14, 2024, the Saskatoon Crime Reduction Team, with assistance from the Tactical Support Unit, initiated enforcement action on a man believed to be trafficking methamphetamine; he was arrested in the 400 block of 5th Avenue North following a brief foot pursuit. Upon search of his person, officers seized 347 grams of methamphetamine, 88 grams of cocaine, and $120.00 CAD.
As a result, he has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking (x2) and possession of the proceeds of crime under $5,000.
