On Saturday, May 11, 2024, the Saskatoon Police Service (SPS) and Saskatoon Fire Department (SFD) will host the annual EXPLORE Emergency Services event to highlight careers in policing and firefighting to women and girls.
EXPLORE Emergency Services is a one day showcase that offers participants hands-on experiential learning opportunities alongside women that serve with the SPS and SFD. The overall objective of the event is to create awareness into the dynamic nature of these rewarding careers with the intention of increasing the number of women applying to both professions.
This free event will take place at the SPS Headquarters, located at 76 – 25th Street East, on Saturday, May 11, 2024 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
