Three youth have been arrested after a citizen reported seeing them in possession of weapons.

At around 12:45 a.m. on April 4, 2024, police attended to the 2400 block of 22nd Street West for a report of three youth armed with weapons. Arriving officers located the youth suspects a short distance away; upon search of their persons, bear spray, a knife, and a bottle of alcohol were seized.

As a result, a 16-year-old male has been charged with possession of a weapon dangerous to public peace, unauthorized carry of a concealed weapon, and failure to comply with court-imposed conditions (x2); a 13-year-old male was charged with possession of a weapon dangerous to public peace and unauthorized carry of a concealed weapon; a second 16-year-old male is charged with failing to comply with court-imposed conditions.
