Four people were arrested following an armed robbery last night.

At approximately 11:45 p.m. on April 25, 2024, police were called to the 2400 block of 22nd Street West for a report of an armed robbery. Upon arrival, officers learned that four people brandishing knives and bear spray had attempted to steal several bottles of alcohol from an establishment before staff members fled to a safe location and locked the suspects inside. All four were subsequently arrested by police without further incident; upon search of their persons, knives and bear spray were located.

As a result, a 38-year-old woman and 22-year-old man, along with two female youth, age 14 and 16, are each facing charges of armed robbery. The 38-year-old woman has also been charged with obstruction while the 14-year-old female was found to be breaching court-imposed conditions and wanted on two outstanding warrants.
