The Saskatoon Police Service and Saskatchewan Coroners Service are investigating after the body of a deceased female was discovered at a recycling facility this morning.

At approximately 10:00 a.m. this morning, April 26, 2024, police received a report of a body being found at a recycling facility in the 1900 block of 1st Avenue North; the deceased is believed to be an adult female. Preliminary investigation suggests the body to have been transported to the facility in a bin that was to be emptied.

The death is not believed to be suspicious in nature; however, members of the Major Crime Section and Saskatchewan Coroners Service are continuing to investigate.
