Police are investigating after a man was stabbed last night.

At around 9:30 p.m. on May 15, 2024, police responded to the 1400 block of Idylwyld Drive North for a report of an injured person. Upon arrival, officers located the 20-year-old male victim suffering from what was believed to be a serious but non-life-threatening stab wound. The suspect had fled the scene prior to police arrival. Continued investigation found that a verbal confrontation occurred between the suspect and victim, who are believed to be known to one another, resulting in the stabbing.

Members of the Serious Assault Unit are continuing to investigate.
