Renewed Request For Public Assistance - Historical Homicide - Daniel Morrison

The Saskatoon Police Service is renewing its request for public assistance in the historical homicide of then 36-year-old Daniel Morrison.

Daniel Morrison was found injured near the west side of the University Bridge along the Meewasin Trail on May 26, 2019. He was transported to the Royal University Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

In July of 2019, the SPS requested public assistance in identifying two persons of interest in relation to the homicide. One of those persons was identified; however, officers are still looking to identify and speak with the male in the photo. The photo was taken near the intersection of 23rd Street East and Spadina Crescent East at 4:30 p.m. on May 26, 2019. The photo is attached for distribution.

The investigation into this historical homicide remains open. It is believed members of the public may have information helpful in solving this case. Anyone with information Is asked to contact the Saskatoon Police at 306-975-8300 or submit a tip anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477. Your information may help bring answers to Daniel’s family.
