Saskatoon Police are investigating following a weapons offence Wednesday afternoon.
At approximately 2:20 p.m. on June 12, 2024 police responded to a weapons complaint involving a firearm in the 200 Block of 2nd Avenue South. Upon arrival, the suspect had fled the scene. Officers then spoke with the victim; he did not appear to have any injuries and refused to provide information to police.
Upon further investigation, officers obtained video surveillance showing a man pull out a firearm before three clicks could be heard. It is not believed the gun was fired.
The suspect is described as male, with a slim build riding a green and black mountain bike with a white front fork. He has sleeve tattoos on both arms and was wearing white Nike runners with a blue swoosh, black pants, a grey or blue shirt, a black Chicago Blackhawks hat with a red beak, and a very large red backpack.
