Two people have been charged following a robbery Thursday night.

At approximately 8:50 p.m. on June 13, 2024 police responded to reports of a robbery in progress at a business in the 1600 Block of 33rd Street West. Further updates stated bear spray had been deployed in the business.

Upon arrival, the suspects had fled the scene; however, members of Patrol located multiple people suffering from the effects of bear spray. Upon further investigation, officers obtained video evidence that assisted in learning suspect descriptions.

Shortly after, officers were able to locate two female suspects. As a result, a 17-year-old female is facing charges relating to robbery, and multiple weapons offences. A 13-year-old female is also facing charges relating to robbery, as well as obstructing a peace officer.
