The Saskatoon Police Service is currently on scene investigating a stabbing that took place Tuesday afternoon.

At approximately 1:10 p.m. on July 2, 2024 police responded to the 1100 block of Broadway Avenue for reports of an injured person. Further updates stated a man had been stabbed and the suspect fled the scene.

Upon arrival, officers located the victim suffering from injuries consistent with a stabbing. The victim was transported to hospital by paramedics with what were believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.

The Saskatoon Police Service is continuing to investigate and any further updates will be provided when available.
