Arrest - Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation Unit Investigation - Prince Albert

The Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation Unit has charged a Prince Albert man with possession of child pornography and making available child pornography. On July 3, 2024, investigators with the ICE unit executed a search warrant at the residence which had been identified as where the offences had been occurring. Forensic examination of several electronic devices was conducted and Tyrone Bishop, age 30, was arrested and charged with:

  • 2 counts of Possession of Child Pornography- Section 163.1(4) of the Criminal Code
  • 1 count of Making Available Child Pornography-Section 163.1(3) of the Criminal Code

He appeared in Provincial Court this morning.

The Saskatchewan ICE Unit is comprised of investigators from the RCMP, Regina Police Service, Saskatoon Police Service, and Prince Albert Police Service. Their mandate is to investigate crimes involving the abuse and/or exploitation of children on the internet.
