One female has been charged and police are continuing to investigate an aggravated assault over the weekend.

At around 12:20 p.m. on July 13, 2024 police responded to a report of a stabbing in the 100 block of Langevin Crescent.

Upon arrival, officers located the 14-year-old male victim suffering from injuries consistent with a stab wound before being treated by paramedics and transported to hospital with what were believed to be serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Officers were able to locate and arrest the suspect on scene and as a result, a 14-year-old female is facing charges relating to aggravated assault.

The victim and suspect are believed to be known to each other.
